Born in Cagliari (Sardinia, Italy) in 1978, Matteo studied Engineering at Imperial College (London) and Corporate Strategy at SDA Bocconi (Milan).
He started working as a strategy consultant at Mars&Co in London and then moved over to the corporate world: Philip Morris, Sky, Business Integration Partners (consulting for Vodafone Group), MultiChoice Group, whereby his last executive role was to lead the digital transformation for the customer area. Prior to that, he created the Customer Value Management department of MultiChoice Africa and launched loyalty platforms DStv Thanks and GOtv Wow.
Over his career, he worked in London, Milan, Dubai, Johannesburg and everywhere across Sub-Saharan Africa. Beyond his corporate activities, Matteo is an angel investor in tech start-ups and a VC voluntary advisor.
The decision to set up Charming Escape Group comes from a very successful first-hand experience as an investor in Bali, and from the magic place that the island holds in Matteo’s and his wife’s hearth.
Matteo lives in Dubai (UAE) with his family.
While Matteo and Alessandro are both fully involved in all aspects of Charming Escape Group, Matteo concentrates mostly on global corporate development, product definition, digital strategy and digital marketing.
